Red Bird Gallery proudly exhibits the work of regional, national, and international artists. All the art represented is original, one-of-a-kind. Nothing is mass-produced.
PAINTINGS
Red Bird Gallery offers a broad range of styles, with only one artist representing each style. Furthermore, Tricia is adament about not hanging an original painting in her gallery if a print has been made of it. What you find in Red Bird Gallery will not be available in any other place. Unlike some galleries in a coastal community, the paintings offered at Red Bird Gallery represent a diverse range of scenery and topics both American and European. So if you are looking for a painting to fit a space in your urban loft, your adobe dwelling, your beach cottage, your mountain cabin, your west coast contemporary, or your traditional suburban home, Red Bird Gallery has art that will fit in with your location and enhance your decor.
GLASS
Tricia looked for a year and a half for glass artists who were committed to making big, bold statements and challenged themselves to create something different from what others were content to produce. The work of Chris Hawthorne and Joy Jackson will delight you.
CLAY
Both the masculine and the feminine are represented in the clay art at Red Bird. Dale Duncan produces pottery with a masculine appearance. His work is earth-toned with rough surfaces often justaposed alongside smooth, pecan-colored, glazed pottery. His art will never be overlooked in a room. The feminine is represented in the lace-like, ruffly porcelain of Amy Webber along with the functional as well as decorative purse-vases crafted by Kerrin Hopper.
JEWELRY
Red Bird gallery offers jewelry that is contemporary yet traditional. It crosses generational lines and appeals to grandmothers, mothers, and daughters all at once. Often featuring unusual clasps, the jewelry is never exactly duplicated and is created from a wide range of freshwater pearls as well as other stones and gems.
